Bayelsa is a democratic state just like the other Nigerian states. In other words, the legislature serves as the ultimate governance institution in the state. The council is headed by the governor of Bayelsa. However, in collaboration with various ministerial departments and committee heads execute power at different levels to ensure that all the operations in Bayelsa are professional and beneficial to the people and investors likewise.
