Access to proper sanitation is a significant challenge in many rural communities in Bayelsa State. Lack of toilets not only affects the health and well-being of individuals but also contributes to the spread of waterborne diseases and environmental pollution. Our organization is committed to addressing this pressing issue and improving the lives of the rural population in Bayelsa State. To accomplish this mission, we have conducted a comprehensive needs assessment in the target rural areas of Bayelsa State. The assessment revealed a significant number of households without access to adequate sanitation facilities. We firmly believe that building toilets is a critical step in improving public health, promoting dignity, and enhancing the overall quality of life for the people in these communities.
